Preventive role. "Prevention is better than cure". In the present fast life culture, it's not an easy task. Yes, mechanical living, unhygienic food practices, stressful agendas are punishing. But by practicing Yoga you can regain the lost balance. Not just the mental balance but a positive attitude towards life.
Maintain body shape. Accumulation of fat in the body tissues results in an uneven body curvature and shape. And this happens mostly when you are in your middle-age. Through Yoga you can regain the lost shape.
Yoga and well-being. Practicing Yoga can bestow you with a stress-free living. By simply focusing your mind on a particular object for about 15 minutes without any intervention can increase your concentration power. This is essential for a fruitful life. Rise early to have a rhythmic, balanced and productive day. Although it's advantageous to practice under an instructor, with sufficient skill and experience it could be done alone, preferably in an airy room, in soothing atmosphere. Ideally the exercise should last for at least 1hour and 15 minutes. Yoga is a lifestyle, not simply a workout, therefore try to practice hygienic food rituals like, positions while eating, mental attitude, inclusion of vegetarian dishes in the diet etc.
